The Los Angeles Angels visited the Minnesota Twins in April for their first road series of the season. They did not fare exceptionally well in Target Field, winning the opener but dropping the next two games of the series as the Twins scored come-from-behind victories.
When the Twins visited the Angels in Southern California last week, things were quite different. The Angels recorded their first sweep of the season and Jered Weaver pitched a no-hitter in the series finale. The Angels are now coming off of a four-game series split against the Toronto Blue Jays. Albert Pujols has hit his first home run and the Halos are hoping their offense is now beginning to wake up. The Twins, meanwhile, have just lost a series to the Seattle Mariners and set an MLB record for having the fewest hits in a four-game span.
