Just 24 hours after a Jered Weaver no-hitter completed their first sweep of the season, the Los Angeles Angels will be right back at it. They will host the Toronto Blue Jays in a four-game series at the Big A beginning on Thursday.
The Blue Jays are holding their own in the stacked American League East and while they contain the always-dangerous Jose Bautista, their main weapon of late has been the red-hot Edwin Encarnacion, who has been a home run machine. The Blue Jays are coming off a pair of very impressive wins over the best team in the league, the Texas Rangers. The Blue Jays will be far from pushovers and will be a good test to see whether the Halos have successfully righted the ship after a terrible April.
