Angels Vs. Mariners Final Score: Halos Complete Sweep With 4-2 Win

The Los Angeles Angels came into Safeco Field on Thursday looking to make a statement in the American League West and they did just that, sweeping their division rivals the Seattle Mariners on their home turf in a four-game series. With Sunday's 4-2 win, the Angels have now won six in a row, their longest winning streak of the season.

Kendrys Morales drove in the first run of the ball game with an RBI single in the first inning, then stayed hot with a solo home run in the top of the fourth.

The Mariners cut the lead in half when Justin Smoak hit a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the fourth to make it 2-1 Angels, but Mark Trumbo led off the top of the seventh with a solo shot, his seventh of the year. Jesus Montero scored in the bottom of the seventh to make it 3-2, but Howie Kendrick would give the Angels an insurance run in the top of the ninth by hitting a sacrifice fly to drive in Morales.

C.J. Wilson allowed one run on two hits and a walk in six innings of work to pick up his sixth win of the year.
