After dropping two out of three games to the San Diego Padres over the weekend, the Los Angeles Angels rebounded admirably to win their series against the Oakland Athletics. They will head to Safeco Field for a big four-game series against another of their division rivals, the Seattle Mariners.
The Mariners are currently ahead of the Angels in the American League West by just half a game, but have won five of their last six games, including just having secured a series win over the first-place Texas Rangers. This could be a great opportunity for the Angels to turn their season around, but their offense will need to show up.
TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers:
On Thursday, the first pitch will be at 7:10 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Dan Haren has been a hard-luck loser several times and still is looking for his second win of the season. Jason Vargas has been the most consistent pitcher this year for the Mariners and gets the start for Seattle.
Friday's game will begin at 7:10 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Ervin Santana has been turning things around quite well as of late. He and Seattle starter Blake Beavan will both be going for their third win of the year.
Saturday's game will begin at 4:15 p.m. PT and the game will be televised nationally on FOX. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Jerome Williams will go up against Seattle ace Felix Hernandez. Both pitchers are looking for their fifth win.
The finale on Sunday will start at at 1:10 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on FOX Sports West. You can catch the radio broadcast on KLAA 830. Los Angeles draws their best pitching matchup in the finale, as C.J. Wilson is coming off eight innings of shutout baseball in Oakland and will lead the Angels against Hector Noesi, who has far and away been the weak link in the Mariners rotation.
