Angels Vs. Athletics: Monday Starting Lineups

The Los Angeles Angels look to get back on track Monday night as they open a three-game series against the Oakland Athletics at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, the second stop on their 10-game road trip. The Angels have lost two straight and three of their last four games, and find themselves in last place in the American League West opening play on Monday.

The Halos turn to Jerome Williams, who is in search of his fifth straight win. Williams has gone at least 6 2/3 innings in each of his last six outings, and during that span is 4-0 with a 1.07 ERA. .... starts for Oakland.

With Angels outfielders dropping like flies, as Vernon Wells and Ryan Langerhans were placed on the disabled list and Torii Hunter still yet to return from the restricted list, Peter Bourjos will see much more playing time for the Halos. Bourjos is in center field, batting eighth on Monday night. Here are the starting lineups in Oakland:

Angels (18-24)

Trout LF
Callaspo 3B
Pujols 1B
Trumbo RF

Bourjos CF

Athletics (21-21)
