Jered Weaver of the Los Angeles Angels made history on Wednesday night, throwing a no-hitter as the Los Angeles Angels shutout the Minnesota Twins 9-0 to complete their sweep of the Twins. Weaver struck out nine in the win.
Weaver allowed only a seventh-inning walk to Josh WIllingham, plus Chris Parmelee reached on a strikeout and passed ball in the third inning. Weaver pitched the ninth no-hitter in Halos franchise history, and the first since teammate Ervin Santana no-hit Cleveland last year. Here is the full list of Angels' no-hitters:
