The Los Angeles Angels have raised a lot of eyebrows by falling to the cellar in the American League West right off the bat in the start of the 2012 season. They have begun to turn things around as of late, but Albert Pujols continues to underperform and the team is now without starting catcher Chris Iannetta for the better part of two months with a wrist injury.

The Angels hit the road on Friday for a huge three-game series against the Texas Rangers, who are in first place in the division with a healthy lead. This is the first meeting between the two rivals this season and although it is only May, this will be an important tilt for both teams. The Rangers are fresh off taking three of four from the surprising Baltimore Orioles, but the Halos may be catching Texas at the right time; they played a double-header against the O's on Thursday and will likely be fatigued on Friday, while the Angels had an off day following their series win over the Minnesota Twins.

This series will have plenty of scrutiny, as all three games will have some form of national television exposure.

TV Schedule & Probable Pitchers

Friday's game will begin at 5:05 p.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West and MLB Network. You can catch the radio broadcast, as always, on KLAA 830. C.J. Wilson will be going for his fifth win of the season as he takes on the much-hyped and extremely dangerous Yu Darvish, who is 4-1 with a 2.54 ERA. This will be Los Angeles' first look at the international star.

On Saturday, first pitch will be at 10:05 a.m. PT and will be televised nationally on FOX. You can catch the radio broadcast, as always, on KLAA 830. Jerome Williams continues his inspiring story as he takes his 3-1 record and 3.38 ERA up against left-hander Matt Harrison, who is 4-2 but holds an ERA of 5.11. Luckily for Harrison, his team features an intimidating lineup that can usually be counted on for plenty of run support.

The series finale on Sunday begin at 5:05 p.m. PT and will be the featured game on ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball. You can catch the radio broadcast, as always, on KLAA 830. Halos ace Jered Weaver will look to stay perfect and improve upon his 5-0 record and 1.60 ERA. He'll face closer-turned-starter Neftali Feliz, who is 2-1 with a 3.38 ERA.
