The Los Angeles Angels on Wednesday announced their opening day roster, with Alexi Amarista and the disgruntled Bobby Abreu on the team. Both Jorge Cantu and Ryan Langerhans were optioned to Triple A Salt Lake City.
The Angels open their series at home Friday night in Anaheim against the Kansas City Royals. Here is their 25-man roster:
Starting Pitchers (4): Jered Weaver, Dan Haren, Ervin Santana, C.J. Wilson
Relief Pitchers (7): Jordan Walden, Jason Isringhausen, Scott Downs, Hisanori Takahashi, LaTroy Hawkins, Kevin Jepsen, Rich Thompson

The Halos have an off day on Tuesday in Minnesota, and won't need to use a fifth starter until Sunday, April 15 against the New York Yankees in The Bronx.
