Beginning on Friday, the Los Angeles Angels will welcome the Baltimore Orioles for a three-game series at Angel Stadium. The Halos are still in search of their first series win of 2012 and trying to climb out of the cellar in the American League West.

The Orioles are surprising some people by jumping out to an early first-place start in the AL East, putting together an 8-5 record so far -- including going 5-2 on the road. While it's unlikely that the O's will continue their winning ways -- or the Angels their losing ways -- it can't be assumed that Baltimore will prove to be a pushover.

On Friday, left-hander Brian Matusz will get the start for the Orioles. He holds an 0-2 record and an 8.38 ERA. He'll be taking on Jerome Williams, who has had an even rougher start to the year, at 0-1 with a 16.87 ERA. Williams was shelled by the Yankees in his last start and looking to bounce back. The game will start at 7:05 p.m. PT and will be televised on FOX Sports West. The radio broadcast, as always, will be on KLAA 830.

Angels ace Jered Weaver will be on the hill on Saturday, looking to continue his 2-0, 2.18 ERA hot start. His opponent will be Jake Arrieta, who has also had a fantastic start to the season. Heading into Arrieta's third start, he'll be 1-0 with a 2.66 ERA. Saturday's game will begin at 6:05 p.m. PT and will air on the MLB Network. The radio broadcast, as always, will be on KLAA 830.

In the finale on Sunday, Dan Haren will try to get his first win of the year. He'll go up against Orioles starter Wei-Yin Chin, who is 1-0 with a 3.27 ERA. Sunday's game will begin at 12:35 p.m. and will be televised on FOX Sports West. The radio broadcast, as always, will be on KLAA 830.
