Angels Vs. Dodgers: Freeway Series Starting Lineups

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels begin their annual Freeway Series exhibition series Monday night in Anaheim. Dan Haren gets the start for the Angels, while the Dodgers will essentially have a bullpen game on the mound. Relievers Jamey Wright, Kenley Jansen, Javy Guerra, Scott Elbert, Todd Coffey, and Mike MacDougal are all slated to pitch on Monday, with Wright starting.

Here are the starting lineups, which are essentially the opening day lineups, with the added caveat of Adam Kennedy at designated hitter for the Dodgers, batting ninth. Kennedy suffered a slight right groin pull on March 25 and didn't get into another game as a precaution until pinch hitting Sunday. Manager Don Mattingly said Kennedy will get a lot of at-bats over the next three days, in preparation for the season:

Dodgers

Gordon SS
Ellis 2B
Kemp CF
Ethier RF
Rivera LF
Loney 1B
Uribe 3B
Ellis C

Angels

Aybar SS

Pujols 1B
Morales DH
Hunter RF
Wells LF
