The Los Angeles Angels have been struggling in the early going of 2012. They blew leads in back-to-back losses against the Minnesota Twins and arrived in the Big Apple in order to be promptly shut out by the New York Yankees on Friday.
Saturday morning, the Angels will be trying to get things back on the right foot and they'll be set up well to do so. C.J. Wilson will take the mound for the Halos. Their newest pitching acquisition is currently sporting a 1-0 record and 1.29 ERA. He'll go up against Yankees pitcher Phil Hughes, who is 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA. In Hughes' last start, he threw 99 pitches in just 4.2 innings.
Saturday's game will begin at 10:05 a.m. PT. The game will be one of four games selected to be broadcast locally on FOX, so you are at the mercy of MLB's whims as to whether you will be able to watch. The radio broadcast, as always, will be on KLAA 830.
