Angels Vs. Twins Final Score: 3-Run Rally Sinks Halos 6-5

Jamey Carroll's RBI single punctuated a three-run seventh inning to lead the Minnesota Twins over the Los Angeles Angels Wednesday night at Target Field in Minneapolis. The Angels led 5-3 going into the bottom of the seventh inning with Jered Weaver on the mound.

But the Twins had other ideas, with the big blow a two-run game-tying triple by Chris Parmalee, who scored on the shallow single by Carroll. The triple came off reliever Hisanori Takahashi, and brought home a pair of inherited runners charged to Weaver's ledger.

Jeff Gray recorded one out for the win for Minnesota, their first of the season after four losses. Matt Capps picked up the save with a scoreless ninth.

Peter Bourjos hit a three-run home run earlier in the game to give the Angels the lead, and Torii Hunter and Chris Iannetta each had two hits for the Halos.

Dan Haren takes the mound for the Angels on Thursday in the series finale, facing Francisco Liriano for the Twins.
