The Los Angeles Angels will square off against the Seattle Mariners behind the arm of C.J. Wilson in order to keep their slim hopes of playing in the postseason alive on Monday night at Safeco Field.

After falling to the Texas Rangers in the back end of a double header on Sunday, 8-7, the Halos find themselves in need of a string of wins -- and some help from the Oakland Athletics -- in order to play deep into October. They are three games back of the second and final American League Wild Card spot.

Wilson will have to duel Mariners' ace Felix Hernandez, who has been steady all season long.
