Angels shortstop Erick Aybar was named co-Player of the Week in the American League, hitting .455/.520/1.045 with eight runs scored in six games. Aybar had a career day on Sunday in Baltimore, hitting two home runs and two doubles, and matching Tim Salmon for the Angels franchise record with five runs scored. Aybar has 14 hits in his last 27 at-bats.
