Dan Haren (8-5, 2.85) vs. Justin Verlander (11-3, 2.32) - The matchup of the series could have an interesting twist. Verlander made the All-Star team, and would be a favorite to start the game but Verlander is scheduled to start on Sunday as well, which would make him ineligible for the All-Star Game. Haren has a strong case for making the team, though is currently on the outside looking in. Might Verlander's absense create a spot for Haren?

Tyler Chatwood (5-5, 3.83) vs. Brad Penny (5-6, 4.43)
