Angels Charter Flight Makes Emergency Landing At LAX

On their way back from Kansas City after their game with the Kansas City Royals yesterday afternoon, the charter flight carrying the Los Angeles Angels team and staff was forced to make an emergency landing at LAX. The plane was supposed to land in Orange County, but there were hydrolic issues with the plane, and the Pilot was not sure they could bring it to a complete stop. They landed at LAX because it had longer runways, and a better opportunity to land the plane safely.

Despite it being an "emergency" landing, the pilot was able to bring the plane is safely, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"It was really much ado about nothing," Manager Mike Scioscia said. "The flight attendants and crew did an excellent job of keeping us informed and it turned out to be a very smooth landing. We're all happy and safe and grateful for the job the crew did."

So probably a little bit of a shock, but everything seemed to go smoothly after that.
