Angels Fan Accidentally Ends Up In Arte Moreno's Suite, Has A Night To Remember

The Angels had a good night on Saturday night, collecting a win over the Royals and snapping their six-game losing streak in the process. However, for a fan named Mike Langdon, his Saturday night in Anaheim was even better. The longtime Angels fan found his way into owner Arte Moreno's private suite, as Marcia C. Smith of the Orange County Register explained:

By then, Moreno had put it all together: Mike Langdon, the Flowserve Industries pump salesman in his bathroom, had mistakenly been given the tickets intended for Mark Langston, the four-time All-Star and seven-time Gold Glove-winning pitcher who played for the Angels from 1990 to 1997.

Langdon, the fan, ended up with quite the experience, chatting with Moreno for several innings, meeting Langston, the pitcher, along with former Angels Clyde Wright and Hall of Famer Reggie Jackson. All because of a simple case of mistaken identity, as Langdon was mistakenly given Langston's tickets at will call. That leaves hope for Angels fans named Bobby Rich, Mark Witt, or Dean Community Chest to meet Moreno themselves.
