Angels Nearly No-Hit, Then Lose To Twins In 10th, 1-0
Four straight singles in the bottom of the 10th inning gave the Minnesota Twins a 1-0 victory over the Angels at Target Field in Minnesota, ending a great pitchers' duel. Jered Weaver threw nine scoreless innings, striking out seven, and the Angels needed it, as Anthony Swarzak of the Twins took a no-hitter into the eighth inning for Minnesota.

Angels' Peter Bourjos Breaks Up Anthony Swarzak No-Hitter With One Out In Eighth Inning
Anthony Swarzak of the Minnesota Twins had a no-hitter through 7 1/3 innings against the Angels at Target Field,but a double by Peter Bourjos with one out in the eighth inning broke it up. Unfortunately for Swarzak he does not have the lead. Through seven and a half innings, the game is a scoreless tie, thanks to Jered Weaver, who has nearly matched Swarzak pitch for pitch.

Twins' Anthony Swarzak Has No-Hitter Through Seven Innings Against Angels
The seventh inning came and went for Anthony Swarzak of the Twins, and the pitcher still has a no-hitter going against the Angels. The problem is, his manager won't be around to see it. Ron Gardenhire was ejected for arguing a pickoff play at second base that ended the Twins' sixth inning in a scoreless duel between Swarzak and Jered Weaver at Target Field in Minnesota.
