The Angels look to snap a three-game losing streak Wednesday night as they open a two-game series in Seattle against the Mariners at Safeco Field. Jered Weaver starts the opener against the AL West rival, while Jason Vargas gets the call for the Mariners. Seattle center fielder Franklin Gutierrez was activated before tonight's game, and is playing his first game of the season. Reliever Tom Wilhelmsen was optioned by the Mariners to make room on the active roster.
