No Masking Angels Win Over White Sox, 6-2

On a night when the Angels Stadium crowd donned wrestling masks to set a new world's record, the Angels pinned Sox starter John Danks with his sixth straight loss.  The Halo hitters tagged Danks for 3 runs with four first-inning singles, two scoring on Alberto Callaspo's base hit to left.  Callaspo would finish the night with 3 RBI, while Maicer Izturis provided the lone Angel home run.

Joel Pineiro (2-0), making his third start of the season and first in Anaheim in 2011, went 7.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on eight hits while striking out 5 and walking one.  Except for a solo home run to Paul Konerko in the second and a RBI double to Adam Dunn in the 6th, Pineiro went unscathed, inducing 11 ground ball outs.

The 6-2 Angel win evens the series at a game apiece and keeps the Halos 2 games ahead of the Rangers and A's in the Al West.  Wednesday's final game of the home stand features Jake Peavy, making his season debut for the White Sox, against rookie right-hander Tyler Chatwood (2-1, 4.08 ERA) at 7:05 PDT
