C.J. Wilson Comes To Angels With No-Trade Clauses Built Into Contract

It's actually happening, the @str8edgeracer, C.J. Wilson is coming to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and the Halos and Wilson are excited about the opportunity.

Wilson spoke briefly about his move within the AL West and was more than excited to be coming to Anaheim:

CJ Wilson: "It's big swing of the balance of power in West. I thought I would make a little bit of difference. Albert will make a huge one."

There still are some questions regarding how much he is getting paid as the team won't discuss the specifics of his deal, though it is somewhere in the range of $75-77.5 million. This is for sure about his contract though, via Alden Gonzalez on Twitter.

CJ's deal includes a full no-trade clause in the first two years and a partial no-trade clause the last three. #angels

The Angels obviously want to keep C.J. around, which likely will behoove both parties. Wilson will be in a place whre he is comfortable surrounded with talented players that can be successful for years to come, while the Angels have the names to fill the seats and make all that money back they just dished out.
