Neither the Los Angeles Dodgers nor the Los Angeles Angels made any playoff noise this regular season. But hey, they can play defense like no other!
We've already talked about the Dodgers. Now, the Angels.
- Dan Haren will be competing with Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox and Fausto Carmona of the Cleveland Indians for most secure pitcher.
- Erick Aybar faces off with J.J. Hardy of the Baltimore Orioles and Asdrubal Cabrera of the Cleveland Indians. The Derek Jeter streak is over, so at least Aybar has a shot!
- Peter Bourjos goes at it with Austin Jackson of the Detroit Tigers and Jacoby Ellsbury of the Boston Red Sox in center field.
- Torii Hunter takes on Jeff Francoeur of the Kansas City Royals and Nick Markakis of the Baltimore Orioles in right field.
The Gold Glove Awards Show will be televised for the first time ever on Tuesday, November 1st at 7 PM PT, 10 PM ET on ESPN2. The odds are pretty good you'll see at least one Angel take home some hardware!
