The 2011 Taiwan All-Star Series, which will begin on November 1 and run for six days, will be televised by MLB Network. A group of MLB players will battle the Chinese Taipei national team for five games in three cities. Four members of the Los Angeles Angels, including shortstop Erick Aybar, are on the MLB squad.
Angels pitchers Rich Thompson and Trevor Bell were added to the MLB roster, which also includes catcher Jeff Mathis. Angels team doctor Dr. Craig Milhouse is the physician for the MLB team. Los Angeles Dodgers pitching coach Rick Honeycutt and team clubhouse manager Mitch Poole also made the trip.
