Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State each open Big West Conference play on Saturday, while Loyola Marymount will take on Cal State Bakersfield.

Long Beach State opens up the conference against Pacific at 4:05 p.m. PT. Judging by their 4-7 record, it would seem the 49ers have struggled this season — but the team has already faced the North Carolina Tar Heels, Arizona Wildcats, Syracuse Orange and Ohio State Buckeyes, with one of the nation's most difficult non-conference schedules.

Cal State Fullerton is riding a three-game win streak and will open the conference season at home against UC Santa Barbara before playing their next three games on the road. Cal State Fullerton has had a see-saw season, starting 0-2, winning their next three, then losing their next three. They are now riding a three-game win streak. Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT.

Loyola Marymount will take on Cal State Bakersfield as their final non-conference game, tipping off at 7 p.m. PT. The Lions sit at 6-6 and could possibly take a winning record into WCC play, where they open the season on the road against the BYU Cougars and the Saint Mary's Gaels.
