The LA Galaxy look to get back on the winning track, on the road for the first time in MLS play this year; their hosts Sporting Kansas City at Livestrong Park. Here are the relevant details of Saturday afternoon's MLS matchup:

Records: Galaxy (1-2-0, 3 pts); Sporting (4-0-0, 12 pts)

Location: Livestrong Park in Kansas City, Kansas

Time: 1:00 p.m. PDT

TV: ESPN with Adrian Healey, Taylor Twellman, and Alexi Lalas on the call.

Goals Allowed Per Match: Galaxy 2.33; Sporting 0.25

Home vs. Road: The Galaxy are yet to go on the road this season, but are 8-12-5 all time at Kansas City. SKC are 2-0-0 at home, though they did concede their only goal of the year thus far at home.

Series History: In fifty all time meetings between the two clubs, the Galaxy lead 22-17-11. Last year, LA won 4-1 at The Home Depot Center, then drew 2-2 at Livestrong Park.

You Only Live Once: Sporting Kansas City are MLS' hottest team, and thanks to the unbalanced schedule this will be the only meeting this year between the two clubs.

Win, Lose, or Draw: In the last three meetings between the clubs in Kansas City the teams have played to draws, going back to the 2009 season. KC has won just one time at home against the Galaxy in seven years; a 2-0 victory in 2008.
