It was announced today that Landon Donovan and Edson Buddle had been placed on the roster for the United States Men's National team friendly against Italy at Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa. The international "A" match is scheduled for Wednesday, February 29th, and FIFA rules require players to be released for 48 hours before the match. Donovan and Buddle are scheduled to fly out on Sunday.

Furthermore, Robbie Keane has been added to Ireland's roster for their friendly against the Czech Republic, and Dan Keat has been called in for the New Zealand team. Michael Stephens has been added to the United States U-23 roster, where he'll been involved in a friendly against Mexico in Frisco, Texas.

The US match will kick off at 11:30am PST. The Galaxy season will kick off seven days from Leap Year day, on March 7th with a CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinal match in Toronto. Donovan and Buddle will rejoin the Galaxy in Southern California as they prepare for that match.
