The Los Angeles Galaxy will be playing in the MLS Cup for the second consecutive year after clinching a 4-2 aggregate victory over the Seattle Sounders Sunday.
The finals will be a rematch of 2011 with the Houston Dynamo also making it back to Major League Soccer's biggest game. But since the Galaxy were the higher seed of the two, Los Angeles will be hosting the MLS Cup on Dec. 1 with the game currently set for 1:30 p.m. PST on ESPN.
This is the third time in the last four years that the Galaxy will be playing in the MLS Cup. And when it comes to appearances, no other team has been more successful than Los Angeles with this being their league-record eighth visit to the league's championship.
The Galaxy beat the Dynamo 1-0 last year at The Home Depot Center with Landon Donovan scoring the only goal for either team.
