Chivas Vs. Sporting: Kansas City Make First Home Depot Center Trip Of Season

Chivas USA look to continue their winning ways tonight, hosting Sporting Kansas City at The Home Depot Center. Here are the relevant details of Saturday's MLS matchup:

Records: Chivas (1-2-0, 3 pts); Sporting (3-0-0, 9 pts)

Location: The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA

Time: 6:00 p.m. PDT

TV: KDOC, Christian Miles and Allen Hopkins on the broadcast.

Goals Per Match: Chivas 0.33; Sporting 2.00

Goals Allowed Per Match: Chivas 0.67; Sporting 0.33

Home vs. Road: Chivas are winless at home this season and are yet to score a goal at home. Kansas City have had one road match, which they won 1-0.

Series History: Chivas lost last year's matchup with SKC at HDC, but was able to manage a draw on the road. Sporting leads the series all time 6-4-4.

Saturday-Sunday: With the Galaxy and Chivas both scheduled for three home matches in March, it's meant some busy weekends at The Home Depot Center. For two of the three weekends, including this one, the Galaxy have taken the Saturday night match with Chivas playing on Sunday. Two weeks ago the teams switched, with Chivas taking Saturday night. Chivas had to play a dreary match in the rain at HDC as a result, while Galaxy had a windy but sunny Sunday matchup.

In The Gutter Looking Up: Chivas find themselves tied with their stadium-mates in the standings, each with three points earning the last place spot in the West.
