After spending four years away from the club, Dennis te Kloese is back with Chivas USA after he was introduced as the club's sporting president on Wednesday.
Te Kloese who will run both Chivas USA and Chivas de Guadalajara. He began his career in soccer as a scout for Club Guadalajara and was also Chiva USA's soccer director. He held various positions in soccer including his most recent position as general coordinator of Mexico's youth national teams after leaving the club. He also spent three seasons as Chivas USA's director of soccer.
While it's still to be determined how te Kloese will split his time between Chivas de Guadalajara and Chivas USA, he said his objective is to turn both clubs into winning teams. He said he'll carry out a full analysis of Chivas USA's current club and prepare a plan before the MLS SuperDraft in January.
The hiring of te Kloese is the second major move the club has made this month. Chivas USA hired Jose Luis Sanchez Sola as it's new head coach on December 12.
