The Cal State Fullerton Titans blew past Southern Green Bay on Sunday afternoon, winning by a score of 93-82. The Titans had two players eclipse the 20-point mark, and shot 54.7 percent from the field, including 10-for-20 from behind the arc. Fullerton is now 2-2 this season and gained some valuable experience against a deep Green Bay squad.
Kwame Vaughn led Cal State Fullerton with 29 points, eight rebounds and four assists. He hit all 11 of his free throws and played 34 minutes, which was the highest tally for either team. Sammy Yeager added 21 points and four assists. D.J. Seeley scored 15 on 6-for-9 shooting, although he was in foul trouble most of the afternoon before eventually fouling out late in the fourth quarter.
Big man Alec Brown led Southern Green Bay with 20 points and seven rebounds. Senior forward Brennan Cougill had a strong overall performance with six points, eight rebounds and six assists. The Phoenix shot 42.6 percent from the field, but hit four of their 24 attempts from behind the arc.
