<p>With the success that the Boise State Broncos have had over the last several seasons it no wonder that coach Chris Petersen has not gotten more attention. With the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/teams/ucla-bruins">UCLA Bruins</a> announcing their intent to go after Petersen int he offseason it is no wonder that Boise fans are a little nervous. SB Nation's One Bronco Nation <a href="http://www.obnug.com/2011/11/29/2592699/chris-petersen-coaching-rumors-ucla-comes-calling-again">wrote about the situation on Tuesday</a>:</p>
<blockquote>
<p>To get things started, <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2011/11/ucla-football-chris-petersen.html">the UCLA Bruins are reportedly interested in hiring Petersen</a> to replace Rick Neuheisel, like, yesterday, and to prove how serious they are, Bruin athletic director Dan Guerrero will be traveling to Boise with pockets full of cash to woo Coach Pete away. </p>
<p>We are currently at Threat Level Fat Chance.</p>
</blockquote>
<p>One Bronco Nation does not seem to think there is much of a chance that Petersen will end up in Los Angeles. They cite that he was not very interested the last time the UCLA job came open, and they don't think much else has changed.</p>

<p>If Los Angeles is going to gain an NFL franchise it appears that it will not be the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.bigcatcountry.com/">Jacksonville Jaguars</a>. This morning it was announced that owner Wayne Weaver would sell the team to Shahid Khan. The main point in the deal, however, is that the team would remain in Jacksonville, thus negating <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2011/11/29/2596161/jacksonville-jaguars-sold-owner-shahid-khan-wayne-weaver">a possible move to Los Angeles</a>:</p>↵<blockquote>↵<p>While Khan was in talks to buy the <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/st-louis-rams">Rams</a>, he stated that he planned to keep the team in St. Louis. Early reports about the sale of the Jaguars seem to indicate that <a target="_blank" href="http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2011/11/29/2596091/report-wayne-weaver-selling-jacksonville-jaguars-will-stay-in">the team will also be staying put</a>.</p>↵</blockquote>↵<p>That narrows the list of possible teams for the new Los Angeles Stadium even further. The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/san-diego-chargers">Chargers</a>, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.dailynorseman.com/">Vikings</a>, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="https://www.buffalorumblings.com/">Bills</a>, and <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/oakland-raiders">Raiders</a> are also possible teams that could move, but nothing is definite. The Jaguars have struggled with attendance in Jacksonville for years, thus making them a prime candidate for relocation.</p>↵<p>For more on the Jaguars, visit SB Nation's <a href="http://www.bigcatcountry.com/">Big Cat Country</a>.</p>

<p>For more on the NFL, visit <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl">SB Nation's NFL hub</a>.</p> <p>Only one of the three California NFL teams had a good week this week. According to Joel Thorman, the <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/oakland-raiders" class="sbn-auto-link">Oakland Raiders</a> were the only team that moved up in this week's SB Nation NFL Power Rankings. Thorman has the Raiders sitting at the No. 13 spot, which is one spot up from last week. Their win over the <a href="https://www.windycitygridiron.com/" class="sbn-auto-link">Bears</a> kept them in first place in the AFC West.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, the <a href="https://www.ninersnation.com/" class="sbn-auto-link">San Francisco 49ers</a> moved down from their lofty No. 2 <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2011/11/29/2596018/nfl-power-rankings-week-13-packers-saints-49ers">spot this week</a>:</p>
<blockquote>
<p>4. <a href="https://www.ninersnation.com/">San Francisco 49ers</a> (9-2, LW: 2): No worries for San Francisco despite last week's loss. They played the <a href="https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/" class="sbn-auto-link">Ravens</a> tough in Baltimore and they're still on track to wrap up the NFC West.</p>
</blockquote>
<p>The 49ers still have a very comfortable lead in the NFC West with five games to go.</p>
<p>Moving South, the <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/san-diego-chargers" class="sbn-auto-link">Chargers</a> continued their freefall by dropping two spots:</p>
<blockquote>
<p>23. <a href="https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/teams/san-diego-chargers">San Diego Chargers</a> (4-7, LW: 21): Sign of a frustrating team: Losing six straight games but only by more than seven points.</p>
</blockquote>
<p>San Diego is now three games out in the division they were favored to win for most of the year.</p>
