The Anaheim Ducks look for a much needed win Thursday night as they start a three-game road trip against the St. Louis Blues. Anaheim opens play Thursday night six points out of a playoff spot, but with only 15 games remaining, time is running out on them.
The Ducks and Blues have each won 4-2 against each other this year, with each team winning at home.
At Anaheim Calling, Jen Neale thinks that Blues coach Ken Hitchcock should win the Jack Adams Trophy for NHL Coach of the Year.
"There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that St. Louis' Blues coach Ken Hitchcock will be nominated for the Jack Adams Trophy. To me, he's the favorite to win," wrote Neale. "Why you ask? Because in 54 games, Hitchcock has amassed a 36-11-7 record."
Thursday night's 5 p.m. PST game will be televised by KDOC. For more news and notes regarding Ducks hockey, be sure to read Anaheim Calling.
