The Anaheim Ducks continue their road trip Wednesday night facing the Pittsburgh Penguins at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh. The Ducks are 2-0-1 in the first three games of their eight-game road trip and have achieved at least one point in six straight games, during which they are 4-0-2.
Should the Ducks (23-24-9) win on Wednesday, they would be at .500 for the first time since November 3.
"We're just playing the same way the whole game and not trying to do different things or be too cute when we get down," Corey Perry told NHL.com. "That's what we've been doing since we've been on this roll and we have to keep doing it." Perry has scored four goals in his last two games.
This is the only meeting this year between the Ducks and Penguins (32-19-5), who are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. The Ducks beat the Penguins 3-2 in Anaheim last season, on November 5, 2010.
Wednesday night's 4 p.m. PST game will be televised by Prime Ticket. For more news and information on Ducks hockey, be sure to read Anaheim Calling.
