Anaheim Ducks defenseman Luca Sbisa will help HC Lugano make a push for first place in the Swiss National League this week when his team travels to face the ZSC Lions and hosts EHC Biel this week.

HC Lugano is tied for second place with HC Fribourg-Gotteron and Rapperswil-Jona Lakers with 23 points. All three teams trail Geneve-Servette HC by nine points after 13 games this season. HC Lugano is one point ahead of the ZSC Lions, and four points ahead of EHC Biel in the standings.

Sbisa, a native of Italy, has two assists and eight penalty minutes through four games with HC Lugano so far this season.

Sbisa, a first-round pick by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2008 NHL Draft, was acquired from Philadelphia in the Chris Pronger trade in June 2009. He appeared in 80 games for the Ducks last season, recording five goals and 19 assists to go along with 66 penalty minutes.
