Anaheim Ducks goalie Viktor Fasth is posting strong numbers for Tingsryd in Sweden during the NHL Lockout. Fasth has posted a 1.98 goals against average with an 0.927 save percentage in seven games this season in the Allsvenskan league.
Tingsryd is currently in 11th place with eight points, nine points behind first place Orebro HK.
The 30-year-old Fasth has played in Sweden in each of his last five seasons. The Ducks signed Fasth to a one-year deal before the start of the NHL Lockout this fall after he was named the Swedish Elite League's Goaltender of the Year in each of the last two seasons.
In 2011-12, Fasth posted a 2.12 GAA and .931 save percentage with five shutouts in 46 games for AIK Stockholm.
Fasth also helped lead Sweden to a silver medal in the 2011 World Championships in Slovakia. He was named the tournament's MVP and top goaltender after posting a record of 6-1 with three shutouts and a 1.71 GAA.
