Ducks Vs. Coyotes Final Score: Andrew Cogliano Hat Trick Leads Anaheim To 4-1 Win

Andrew Cogliano had his first career hat trick, leading the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-1 win over the Phoenix Coyotes in their first game after the All-Star break, at Jobing.com Arena in Phoenix on Tuesday night. The win for the Ducks was their ninth in their last 11 games, as Anaheim is 9-1-1 during that stretch.

Cogliano scored all three goals during the second period, giving him 11 on the season, turning a 1-0 Anaheim deficit into a 3-1 lead. Teemu Selanne added an empty net goal with 1:06 remaining to provide the final margin. Nick Bonino added two assists for Anaheim.

Jonas Hiller saved 25 of 26 shots in the win. Phoenix goalie Mike Smith was pulled in the second period after Cogliano's third goal, in favor of Jason LaBarbera.

Anaheim improved to 12-10-3 under head coach Bruce Boudreau. The Ducks return home Wednesday night to open up a four-game homestand against the Dallas Stars.
