The way the Anaheim Ducks are playing, the All-Star break couldn't come at a worse time. The Ducks look for their sixth straight win Tuesday night as they travel to Texas to face the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center. Anaheim has won five straight and eight of their last nine games, and at 8-0-1 have collected at least one point in nine consecutive contests.
"It's important to finish strong before the (All-Star) break and come out of the gate the way you want to," captain Ryan Getzlaf told Dan Rosen of NHL.com. "It's a big emphasis on Tuesday's game."
The Ducks have scored 36 goals in their last nine games, and have improved to 11-9-3 under head coach Bruce Boudreau. The Ducks are 1-2-0 against the Stars this season. In their one game in Dallas so far this season, the Stars prevailed 5-3 on December 19.
Tuesday night's 5:30 p.m. PST game will be televised by Prime Ticket. For more news and notes on Ducks hockey, be sure to read Anaheim Calling.
