Ducks Vs. Senators: Anaheim Looks To Extend Point Streak

Anaheim is 6-0-1 in its last seven games.

The Anaheim Ducks continue their homestand on Saturday afternoon as they host the Ottawa Senators at Honda Center. The Ducks have a point-streak of seven games, including three consecutive wins, and Anaheim is 6-0-1 during that span.

Anaheim has scored 31 goals in its last seven games, the same number of goals scored by the team in the previous 13 games prior to that. Head coach Bruce Boudreau was happy to see the offense, telling the Associated Press, "There were times this year that we would have taken half of those and been happy."

The Ducks on Friday signed 31-year old defenseman Francois Beauchemin to a three-year contract extension worth a reported $10.5 million. This is the only meeting of the year between the Ducks and Senators. Anaheim won their only matchup last season, 2-1 on January 18 in Ottawa.

Saturday afternoon's 1 p.m. PST game will be televised by Prime Ticket. For more news and information on Ducks hockey, be sure to read Anaheim Calling.
