The Anaheim Ducks continued their red-hot play on home ice Wednesday night as they opened a three-game homestand with a convincing 6-2 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes at Honda Center. It was the third straight win for Anaheim, which has a seven-game point streak during which the club is 6-0-1.
Francois Beauchemin scored two goals and had an assist for the Ducks, who improved to 9-9-3 under head coach Bruce Boudreau. Lubomir Visnovsky had a pair of assists for Anaheim, and Jason Blake added a goal and an assist. Niklas Hagman, Matt Beleskey, and Corey Perry also added goals for the Ducks, who have scored 31 goals in their last seven contests.
Jonas Hiller saved 25 of 27 shots for the win, his 13th of the season. Hiller is 4-0-1 in his last five starts, with a .943 save percentage during that span. Anaheim continues its homestand Saturday afternoon against the Ottawa Senators.
