Ducks Vs. Coyotes: Red-Hot Anaheim Opens Homestand Against Phoenix

Anaheim is 5-0-1 in its last six games.

It took nearly three months, but the Anaheim Ducks are finally playing their best hockey. The red-hot Ducks return to Anaheim to open a three-game homestand Wednesday night at Honda Center against the Phoenix Coyotes. Anaheim has an active point streak of six games, and is 5-0-1 in its last six contests, winning their last two games.

The Ducks have gotten contributions from several players during their six-game hot streak. Corey Perry has five goals and two assists during that span, both Bobby Ryan and Teemu Selanne each have four goals and three assists during that span, and Ryan Getzlaf has one goal and four assists. Goalie Jonas Hiller is 3-0-1 in his last four starts with a .948 save percentage.

This is the fourth of six meetings between the Ducks and Coyotes this season. The Coyotes has won two of the three meetings with Anaheim this season, splitting two games at Honda Center. Phoenix has lost five straight road games (three in overtime or shootout) and six of their last seven away from Phoenix.
