Slumping Ducks Host Blackhawks In Afternoon Affair At Honda Center

The Ducks lost 3-2 in a shootout to the Blackhawks in Chicago on October 25

In the last 38 days, the Anaheim Ducks have just two wins and eight points. The Ducks hope they can turn things around with a six-game homestand beginning Friday afternoon against the Chicago Blackhawks at Honda Center. Anaheim has lost five straight games, 11 of their last 12, and 14 of their last 16 contests.

"We were not being aggressive enough, simple enough from my standpoint," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle told NHL.com on Thursday. "They've got to skate. We've got people that can skate. We've got people that can get involved physically."

The Ducks lost 3-2 in a shootout to the Blackhawks in Chicago on October 25, but hope for some homecooking against Chicago. The Blackhawks have won just four (plus two ties) of their last 25 games in Anaheim. Chicago has lost their last three games overall and have two games left on their six-game road trip.

Friday's 1 p.m. PST game will be televised by Prime Ticket. For more Ducks hockey news and information, be sure to read Anaheim Calling.
