Ducks Vs. Predators: Anaheim Shutout 3-0 By Pekka Rinne

Pekka Rinne saved all 20 shots, as the Anaheim Ducks were shutout 3-0 by the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee. It was the second loss in three games for the Ducks (though one was in a shootout) to open their seven-game road trip.

The Ducks are 4-9-1 in Nashville dating back to 2007, including the postseason.

Things didn't go well for the Ducks right from the start, as 14 seconds into the game Patric Hornqvist grabbed a rebound and put it past Jonas Hiller for a quick 1-0 lead for Nashville. The Predators added another tally when Martin Erat scored his first goal of the season at 18:59 of the first period, assisted by Jordin Tootoo and Ryan Suter.

Shea Weber added a goal in the third period to provide the final margin. The Ducks continue their road trip, battling the Columbus Blue Jackets Sunday night in Ohio.
