From Anaheim Calling: Turning Point Tonight Came Courtesy Of Getzlaf, Ryan

In tonight's game at Honda Center, a 4-3 win by the Anaheim Ducks over the Vancouver Canucks, the turning point of the game came in the third period, writes Arthur from Anaheim Calling:

The entire tenor of the game changed, however, when halfway through the 3rd period, Bobby Ryan powered the puck into the zone on the wing and found his playmaker, Ryan Getzlaf, joining the play.  Getzlaf, in turn, outwaited the defenders and Luongo before threading a pass to Perry on the doorstep.  A little over a minute later, Bobby Ryan again took the puck, this time jumping off the bench to poke it off the stick of an advancing Sedin (I can't be bothered to discern which one) and again onto the tape of his playmaker Getzlaf, who circled the puck into the zone with Perry and a late-joining Bobby Ryan, who received the centering pass and deposited it in Luongo's five hole.  Getzlaf would finish with four points on the night.

In addition, because the Ducks scored a power-play goal, fans tomorrow can get free Oggi's sticks at all participating Oggi's Pizza and Brewing Co. for Thursday only, using this coupon.
