2012 BMW Championship Results: Rory McIlroy Holds Off Tiger Woods For Title

Rory McIlroy won the 2012 BMW Championship on Sunday afternoon, shooting four-under in the fourth round to improve his overall score to -20. The win marks his second-consecutive win on the PGA Tour and he is in prime position to win the FedExCup after taking home 2,500 points.

Tiger Woods was in contention all weekend and finished his tournament at -17. He shot four-under par in the fourth round. Woods tied for fourth place along with Robert Garrigus, and they will both take home 650 FedExCup points. Phil Mickelson and Lee Westwood tied for second at -18 overall, which gave both players 1,250 points in the standings.

Dustin Johnson and Adam Scott tied for sixth place at -16 overall. Vijay Singh placed eight at 15-under par through four rounds, while Jim Furyk (-14), Ryan Moore (-13) and Bo Van Pelt (-13) rounded out the top 10.
