USC's athletics department has announced that Heritage Hall will be getting a $35 million facelift in 2013.
↵The renovation project intends to transform Heritage Hall into a proper showcase of proud Trojan history. These renovations will begin in January of 2013 and are expected to take about a year to complete. They are a small part of the $300 million Heritage Initiative, a fundraising campaign to provide improved athletic and academic facilities for USC's student-athletes.
↵This announcement comes on the heels of the grand opening of the $70 million, 110,000 square foot John McKay Center on Aug. 2, which houses coaches' offices, the locker room for the Trojans football team, an academic center, a weight room, a training room, and a digital media production center for all Trojan athletics.
↵Future capital projects of the Heritage Initiative include the Uytengsu Aquatics Center and the Merle Norman Sand Volleyball Center.
