There are two men's quarterfinal matchups this Thursday in a light day of singles action at the 2012 U.S. Open. The headliner will be the highest-ranked player left in the tournament, Novak Djokovic, who will now try to take the next step toward winning another major and his second straight U.S. Open. Djokovic will face Juan Martin del Potro, who essentially ended Andy Roddick's professional tennis career in his previous matchup.
The Djokovic vs. del Potro matchup will take place in the primetime session. In the afternoon, you'll see two top-10 tennis talents try to make their way into their first U.S. Open semifinal. No. 8 Janko Tipsarevic and fourth-ranked David Ferrer will tango for a chance to face the winner of the night's matchup.
All matches can be seen on The Tennis Channel or ESPN2, and all matches can be streamed live here.
