Tuesday's matches start off with three of the highest seeds in the US Open. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. PT, No. 2 Novak Djokovic goes up against No. 18 Stanislas Wawrinka. On the ladies side, No. 1 Victoria Azarenka faces No. 7 Samantha Stosur and No. 3 Maria Sharapova takes on No. 11 Marion Bartoli.
After Mardy Fish dropped out of the tournament on Monday, Andy Roddick is the only American left. Not that Roddick needs any more pressure; however, now he needs to win his last ever tournament before retiring and guarantee that at least one American will take the trophy on home soil.
Roddick will be one of two matches starting at 4:00 p.m. PT. He'll be facing No. 7 Juan Martin Del Potro of Spain. The final match of the day features No. 4 David Ferrier against No. 13 Richard Gasquet.
