Ryder Cup schedule 2012: TV coverage begins Friday

Team USA will begin its quest for a second Ryder Cup win in three years beginning on Friday.

Team USA will attempt to capture its second victory in three tries as the 2012 Ryder Cup will make its way to the Chicagoland area and feature the world's best golfers in the classic international team showdown at the historic Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Ill.

Play will begin on Friday, Sep. 28, and take place through Sunday, Sep. 30, when the final points will be tallied and one team, USA or Europe, will emerge victorious. Rydercup.com will offer unprecedented coverage of the event, and fans will be able to take full advantage of the sites online, mobile and social coverage beginning on Friday.

Ryder Cup LIVE will feature apps and coverage that will aim to make the viewing experience interactive for all fans.
