Week 3 of the 2012 NFL season is upon us. There are many big games to keep an eye on, including showdowns between the Raiders and Steelers. Let's take a look at the local TV schedule for the city of Los Angeles and the surrounding areas.
CBS Early Game: The New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs will meet on CBS at 10 a.m. PT. Neither team has won a game this season, although plenty of talent will be on display this week. Look for Drew Brees and Dwayne Bowe to have big games against struggling defenses. Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf will be the announcers in the booth.
CBS Late Game: The Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers play will be featured on CBS beginning at 1 p.m. PT. Oakland has not played well this season and is coming off a blowout loss to the Dolphins, while the Steelers appeared to hit their stride against the Jets last weekend. Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts will call the action from Oakland Coliseum.
FOX: The undefeated San Francisco 49ers head to Minnesota to take on the Vikings at 10 a.m. PT. The Niners are undefeated and look like serious Super Bowl contenders, while the Vikings are showing signs of improvements after struggling most of last season. Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston and Tony Siragusa will serve as the announcers for this NFC showdown.
NBC: The New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens meet on NBC for Sunday Night Football this week. Both teams struggled a bit last week in losing efforts, although they remain right in the hunt in a tough AFC. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth will be in the booth for this 5:20 p.m. PT kickoff.
