The UCLA Bruins will look for their third consecutive Pac-12 Conference championship in baseball in the 2013 season, and on Monday the school announced its 56-game schedule for the upcoming season.
The Bruins will hold the annual alumni game at Jackie Robinson Stadium on January 26, but the real games begin on February 15, when UCLA hosts the Minnesota Golden Gophers for the beginning of a three-game series at home.
"We are very excited about the 2013 schedule," said head coach John Savage. "The players want to play one of the toughest schedules every year and our program will be challenged once again with all of the teams that we play."
UCLA will battle the USC Trojans in the 2013 Dodgertown Classic on Sunday, March 10 at Dodger Stadium, the fourth consecutive year the two schools will take part in the event.
Non-conference opponents include three road games against the Baylor Bears from Feb. 22-24, a three-game home series against Wright State from Mar. 1-3, and three home games against the Loyola Marymount Lions from Apr. 12-14. UCLA will also play the Long Beach State Dirtbags twice, traveling to Long Beach on Mar. 5 and hosting the Dirtbags on Apr. 23.
The Bruins conclude their regular season with a road series against the Stanford Cardinal in Palo Alto from May 24-26. The NCAA regionals begin on May 31.
